Fieldhead
Today, dear people, is Yorkshire day
– so we took Safewards up to the wonderful trust that is South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust. They are a specialist NHS Foundation Trust that provides community, mental health and learning disability services to the people of Barnsley, Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield. – Plus some medium secure (forensic) services to the whole of Yorkshire and the Humber.
Over a million pop! Well we had a fantastic session at Fieldhead Hospital in Wakefield – but numpty that I am I told the assembled masses that I would be taking a photo and then, in the excitement of questions about their implementation, I forgot. Grabbed Mark, Glenda and Paula in the corridor after wards ( sorry peeps) but didn’t get the big shot of the 50 or so clinicians they has attending,
Trust is moving at a pace with two PICU’s and a medium secure unit implementing. Might be some networking to be done.
But they were really a great bunch – Yorkshire hospitality and all that. To Nurse Director Tim Breedon and all the clinicians who attended and especially to Andi Turner who organised.
